Even though our area is vast we can connect you to others nearby who can help you settle into your new environment. As a new migrant, or newcomer to South Canterbury you are welcome to join our newcomers network. Our aim is to help you settle into your new environment and feel comfortable in our community.

The Aoraki District is situated within South Canterbury & included is the Timaru District.  This area is bordered by the gently curving South Canterbury coastline & the Southern Alps.  The region includes many inland lakes, attractive towns, lush pastures, rolling hills & clean rivers.
